Case Study 2: E-Commerce Site
Overview
For this project, we had to re-design an existing e-commerce website. I chose an Etsy shop for an artist using the name OhWhale.co. Her business focuses on merch with kawaii illustrations and is very influenced by Asian cultures.

Overview
For this project, we had to re-design an existing e-commerce website. I chose an Etsy shop for an artist using the name OhWhale.co. Her business focuses on merch with kawaii illustrations and is very influenced by Asian cultures.
Goals
The goal of this project was to build a fake ecommerce website. I chose an etsy shop, OhWhale.co, that didn’t have a section on their website where they could sell their product. This project had to include a home page, about page, product displays and information page, a shopping cart page, order form, and an order confirmation page. It had to work for both web and mobile format, and have small animations built in to make the site feel alive. The website had to feel as real as possible.
Challenges
One of the challenges for this project was figuring out the little animations to make the page feel more alive. It was also a struggle getting things to look right in both mobile and desktop.
